Arizona's 2022 Legislative Review

Arizona's legislative session will likely continue at least through May as lawmakers debate the fiscal year 2023 budget and scores of pending bills. How will the negotiations play out and what impact will they have on the philanthropic and nonprofit sectors?

Please join us to hear insights into the 2022 legislative session from Beth Lewallen, founder of Italicized Consulting. Beth will provide a high-level look at how key public policy and budget issues are playing out through the lens of the social sector.

Beth Lewallen is the founder of Italicized Consulting, which provides research and communication support to a wide range of public policy advocates.  She has worked for elected and appointed officials in state and local government, including the state Senate, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, and the Arizona Board of Regents. An admitted policy wonk, she closely follows many government entities in Arizona and is a go-to source for those who want to understand and influence policymaking processes.

Beth holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from ASU and a master’s degree in political management from The George Washington University.

This invitation is also extended to members of the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits Policy Council.
